Nestled in the Northside, I'm a performer and purveyor of all things artistic. Behind the scenes, I write musicals with Kelan M. Smith. From the front, front of the scenes, armed with a BFA from Columbia College Chicago, I've appeared in shows all across the area.
My Desert Island All-Time Top Five Musicals:
Fly by Night, by Will Connolly, Michael Mitnick, and Kim Rosenstock
Ride the Cyclone, by Brooke Maxwell and Jacob Richmond
The Band's Visit, by Itamar Moses and David Yazbek
Darling Grenadine, by Daniel Zaitchik
The Election of William Henry Harrison (and his Subsequent Death), by Preston Parker
Clearly, I love intimate ensemble pieces with deeply existential themes and delightfully ecstatic bops. If there's one thing Chicago does best, it's intimately staged ensemble stagecraft.
